The Lost Key of Quebec
![]() |
In a quiet, remote village in Quebec, Canada, stood a century-old mansion. Local legends claimed that its owner had vanished mysteriously decades ago, leaving the heavy iron gates locked forever.
Mark, a young man with a deep passion for exploring forgotten places, often walked past the eerie estate. One evening, as he strolled near the crumbling stone wall, his foot struck a hard object buried in the dirt. He kneeled down and brushed away the soil to reveal an ancient brass key, engraved with the exact same crest as the mansion’s front gate.
Gathering his courage, Mark inserted the key into the rusted lock and turned it. With a heavy groan, the massive doors swung open.
The inside was shrouded in total darkness and covered in a thick layer of dust. Mark switched on his phone flashlight and stepped into the grand hall. In the center of the room stood an old wooden table holding a glowing, ancient magic book inscribed with strange symbols.
As Mark stepped closer and gently placed his hand on the book, a soft blue light burst from its pages. At that very moment, heavy, terrifying footsteps echoed from the upper floor, and the main doors slammed shut behind him. Mark was trapped, with no way out.
Desperate, Mark clutched the mystical book to his chest. Instantly, the ancient magic within the tome awakened. A dazzling beam of light filled the hall, and a luminous magical fairy materialized before him. With a sweep of her wand, she forged a shimmering portal, instantly whisking Mark through the sealed doors and onto the safe grass outside.
If Mark had not picked up that magic book, he would never have escaped the trapped mansion alive. Resting safely outside, the glowing book remained in his hands, its magical secrets waiting to be uncovered...
